At is a preposition. It is used before the word which indicates the age, stage, temporary action...etc.

Rule 1:
"At" का प्रयोग छोटे स्थानों के नाम (name of the small places) के पहले 'में' के अर्थ में होता है।
Examples:
a) My brother lives at Ukhra. (गाँव)
b) I lives at Sardapally. (मुहल्ला)
c) My brother-in-law lives at Durgapur. (शहर)
Rule 2:
"At" का प्रयोग उम्र (age) तथा चरण (stage) को indicate करने वाले शब्दों के पहले होता है।
Examples:
a) I started earning at thirteen.
b) Ram left the palace at twenty four.
Rule 3:
"At" का प्रयोग temporary action को indicate करने
के लिए किया जाता है।
Examples:
a) He is at play. (अर्थ: He is playing now. )
b) They are at study. (अर्थ: They are studing now. )
Rule 4:
"At" का प्रयोग कीमत/दर/चाल की दर (Rate) को indicate करने वाले शब्दों के पहले होता है।
Examples:
a) Milk sells at ₹22/- a litre. (दर - Rate)
b) He got this pen at ₹12.(कीमत - Price)
c) This motorcycles is running at eighty kilometer an hour. (चल की दर - Speed )

"At" का प्रयोग Time को indicate करने के लिए 'पर/में' के अर्थ में होता है।
Examples:
a) He will reach at 10 a.m.
b) The train will reach the station at 5 a.m.
c) He came at 6 O' clock.
